The aims and objectives of the Association are:-
To associate and affiliate into one organization all the anaesthesiologists who are currently practicing Cardio-vascular & Thoracic Anaesthesia or were actively associated before.
- a) To maintain the highest standards in the ethics and the practice of Cardio-vascular & Thoracic Anaesthesia.
- b) To encourage Education, Training,Research and Scientific progress.
- c) To disseminate information.
- d) To edit and publish publications.
- e) To protect the public against irresponsible and unqualified practitioners.
- f) To safeguard the professional interests of its members.
- g) To affiliate with international bodies for promotion of mutual exchange of knowledge.
- h) To encourage faculty exchange programmes in Bangladesh and abroad.
- i) To receive and accept donations, gifts, grants as per law of the country.
- j) To ensure that the income, earnings, properties of the association shall be used for the promotion of aims and objectives of the Association.
